MY LIFE'S PASSION

I’ve been a student of Cherokee History for half a century now, and I’ve been blessed to be a part of the Cherokee Nation Tribal Government for the last Quarter Century.

Over twenty years ago I was a founding member of the Trail of Tears Association and have been a Board member continuously since. I served as Vice President for several years before assuming the duties of Ex. Director.

Sharing the sad story of our ancestors forced removal provides a platform to inform the public all across the country about the resilience, tenacity, and perseverance of our fore-bearers; about how they maintained and perpetuated the Cherokee Nation in the face of adversity; and about how we draw inspiration from their determination to survive as a people.

I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve enjoyed, and truly thankful the the Creator has allowed me to work on the things I care about so deeply these many years.

We’re glad you visited the website and we are always happy to hear from folks, so be in touch if you want.
